Watch out for milkbottle tops! Nuf said is our non mantra to lure you in, to see what we are about! Welcome and get involved!
We plan to support Ward 10 North Cancer Patients and Haematology at The Belfast City Hospital by undertaking an enormous physical challenge. Starting by Kayaking along the coastline from Bangor, Co.Down to Newcastle, an approximate total of 50 miles! THEN, summit the highest peak in Northern Ireland, Sleive Donnard and make a few friends along the way.
We are currently novice kayakers which makes this challenge very difficult indeed starting from scratch, training throughout the winter when our seas are at their coldest.
We also hope to raise awareness for bleeding disorders as there are many people here in Northern Ireland with an undiagnosed bleeding disorder.
The initial date for "the challenge" is 29th June 2012 - 1st July 2012.
